My name is Faraz Bala, owner and principal of Vernon Road. I am looking to acquire one Western Washington services or light manufacturing business with $400k to $1.5M in owner profits (i.e. EBITDA). Vernon Road, named for the location of my family's restaurant in Lake Stevens, WA, is the continuation of an American dream. Every order taken, table bussed, and milkshake spun gave me the grit that led to a successful military and corporate career. Military, small business, and corporate experience
I am proud to bring a wide range of experience to the table as a prospective small business buyer. I learned firsthand what it takes to run a small business from the age of 10, learning every job in my family’s restaurant. I will pair that grit with the extensive business knowledge I gained from UC Berkeley, Amazon, and Ernst & Young. And most importantly, I will bring the leadership skills and composure I gained at West Point and managing teams both stateside and overseas as a US Army Officer, including a 15 month deployment to Iraq.
